Mikes studio and gallery is located at “The Grattons”, a family farm set
in the rolling hills of Narre Warren North, forty minutes drive South–East
of Melbourne. The property is a working farm where artist Mike and his brother
Brad a furniture designer have both established businesses. Mike has set
up a gallery, sculpture walk and studio space, whilst Brad’s furniture business, Nicholls
Design has a workshop adjoining the gallery.
The sculpture walk is set within established gardens where different
scaled sculptures can be observed in their natural outdoor settings. The
gallery space is used to permanently exhibit works on paper, paintings and
sculptures, whilst the outdoor studio provides a space where large scale
private and public sculpture commissions are produced.
